M.A. in Puritans  Studies

 

Program M.A. Bidang Kajian Teologi Puritans

 

Purpose

The Institute for Puritans and Baptist Studies program is offered to those who have desire to in-depth study about the heritage of Puritans' and  Baptist's theological and practice to apply in this ministry today. This program offer Master of Art in Puritan  Studies (M.A. ).  It is designed to equip candidates for the teaching and pastoral ministry, or prepare them for postgraduate studies.

 

Admission Requirements

 

The MA program is offered to those already have an Bachelor degree from an approved institution both theological and non-theological area when they enter Institute for Puritans Studies. 

 

Program Requirements

 

Students must complete in residence 45 credit hours of advanced study courses. A thesis on an approved biblical-theological theme in Puritans  perspective is to be presented in the final year. The program normally requires 2 years of full-time study.

 

Graduation Requirements

 

Candidates must earn 45 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0. A grade of at least ‘B’ is required for all courses. Evidence to the faculty of approved Christian character must also be shown. The successful candidate must be present at the graduation service for the conferral of the degree.

 

Tujuan

Program Institute for Puritans and Baptist Studies ditawarkan kepada mereka yang memiliki kerinduan untuk mempelajari warisan sejarah dan teologi serta praktik kehidupan kaum Puritan dan Baptis secara mendalam untuk diterapkan dalam pelayanan hari ini. Program ini menawarkan baik program Master of Art bidang Kajian Teologi Puritan (M.A.)  Program ini dirancang untuk mengembangkan para mahasiswa dalam pelayanan pengajaran dan penggembalaan, atau mempersiapkan mereka ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.

 

Syarat Pendaftaran

 

Program MA ditawarkan kepada mereka yang telah memiliki gelar Sarjana dari perguruan tinggi yang diakui baik dari bidang teologi maupun sekuler ketika mereka masuk ke program  Institute for Puritans Studies.

 

Syarat Program

 

Mahasiswa harus menyelesaikan 45 SKS mata kuliah studi lanjutan yang ditawarkan di program  On Campus. Mereka juga harus menyusun thesis dalam bidang teologi Alkitabiah dalam perspektif Puritan yang harus diuji di akhir studi. Program ini normalnya dapat diselesaikan 2 tahun melalui studi sepenuh waktu.

 

Syarat Wisuda

 

Calon wisudawan harus telah menyelesaikan 45 SKS dengan IPK minimum 3.0. Nilai minimal  yang disyaratkan adalah 'B' untuk semua mata kuliah. Harus menunjukkan karakter Kristen yang diakui oleh dewan dosen. Calon wisudawan harus menghadiri upaca wisuda untuk memperoleh ijazah/gelarnya.

Tuition Fee:

Since this program is our desire to rise spirit of Puritans in ministry today, we will try to look for sponsor for every student. And we hope many people of God is moved their heart to give scholarship found for the students.

The following are our program fees:

1. Application: IDR 100.000,00 (equal with US $ 10.00)

2. Material course: IDR 50.000,00 (equal with US $ 5.00) per course

3. Tuition Fee for MA Program: IDR 150.000,00 (equal with US $ 15.00) per credit

4. Tuition Fee for MTh Program: IDR 200.000,00 (equal with US $ 20.00) per credit

5. Thesis Examination: IDR 500.000,00 (equal with US $ 50.00)

6. Graduation: IDR 1.000.000,00 (equal with US $ 100.00)

 

Biaya Kuliah:

Karena program ini merupakan kerinduan kami untuk membangkitkan kembali semangat kaum Puritan dalam pelayanan hari ini, maka kami akan berusaha mencarikan sponsor untuk setiap mahasiswa. Dan kami berharap ada banyak anak Tuhan yang tergerak hatinya untuk memberikan bantuan beasiswa kepada para mahasiswa.

Berikut ini adalah rincian biaya kuliah:

1. Pendaftaram: Rp. 100.000,00

2. Material course: Rp 50.000,00 per mata kuliah

3. Biaya kuliah untuk Program MA: Rp. 150.000,00 per SKS

4. Biaya kuliah untuk Program MTh: Rp. 200.000,00 per SKS

5. Ujian Sidang Thesis: Rp. 500.000,00

6. Wisuda: Rp. 1.000.000,00
