Distance Learning Program

 

Purpose

The Institute for Puritans and Baptist Studies program is offered to those who have desire to in-depth study about the heritage of Puritans' and  Calvinistic Baptist's theological and practice to apply in this ministry today. This program offer Bachelor of Theology (B.Th), Master of Ministry (M.Min.), Master of Divinity (M.Div), Master of Theology (M.Th), and  Master of Art in Puritan  Studies (M.A. ).  All of degrees can be completed by distance learning or self study in your own country and place with use Internet. It is designed to equip candidates for the teaching and pastoral ministry, or prepare them for postgraduate studies.

 

Admission Requirements

 

The M.Min., M.Div., M.Th., and MA programs is offered to those already have an Bachelor degree from an approved institution both theological and non-theological area when they enter Institute for Puritans Studies. 

 

Program Requirements

 

B.Th. students must complete in 4 (four) years courses, M.Min. students must complete in 1 (one) year courses beyond Bachelor, M.Div. students must complete in 2 (two) years courses beyond Bachelor or 1 (one) years courses beyond M.Min. M.Th. students must complete in 3 (three) years courses beyond Bachelor or 2 (two) years course beyond M.Min. or 1 (one) year courses beyond M.Div. MA students must complete 1 (one) year beyond Bachelor of Theology).  A thesis on an approved biblical-theological theme in Puritans  and Baptist perspective is to be presented in the final year.

 

Graduation Requirements

 

Candidates must complete all courses requirement with a minimum GPA of 3.0. A grade of at least ‘B’ is required for all courses. Evidence to the faculty of approved Christian character must also be shown. The successful candidate must be present at the graduation service for the conferral of the degree.
